Hand-knotted tears are repaired by re-knotting threads—the repair becomes seamless and invisible. Burns require careful assessment: if the knots are destroyed, we patch with matching material or re-knot that section. Repairs are detailed work and priced accordingly. We can arrange logistics if you need to ship the rug.
What if my rug is damaged during shipping?
Damage is rare due to our careful packaging, but we’re prepared. We photograph damage, file claims with insurers, and resolve quickly. You won’t bear the cost of damage caused during transit. This is what insurance covers.
How is the rug packaged and protected during shipping?
Proper packaging is essential. We use acid-free materials, ensure secure wrapping, and use sturdy boxes. Large rugs are placed in specialised shipping containers. All shipments include insurance and tracking. We manage logistics end-to-end so you receive the rug in perfect condition.
What happens when my rug arrives?
Delivery is coordinated with you. We provide advance notice, tracking updates, and flexibility on delivery timing. Upon arrival, please inspect the rug immediately and report any damage or issues within 5 days. We’re here to address concerns. Take photos if issues arise.
